1. OUR KOBLE PROMISE

We want buying furniture online to feel straightforward.

Our principal customer promises are:

FREE DELIVERY

Standard delivery is free for orders to addresses within the Koble Delivery Area.

24-HOUR DISPATCH ON ELIGIBLE IN-STOCK PRODUCTS

Eligible in-stock products are normally dispatched within 24 hours of your order being confirmed, including Saturdays and Sundays.

Dispatch means the point at which your order leaves our warehouse. It does not mean that your order will necessarily be delivered within 24 hours.

Individual product pages will show the expected dispatch and/or delivery timeframe and will make clear where a different timeframe applies.

60-DAY CHANGE OF MIND GUARANTEE

Changed your mind? You can request to return an eligible Koble purchase within 60 days of delivery, subject to the conditions explained below.

Your statutory 14-day cancellation rights are separate from, and are not affected by, our additional 60-day guarantee.

UP TO A 10-YEAR KOBLE WARRANTY

Built to last. Koble products are covered by up to a 10-year warranty.

The exact period depends on the product and component, as explained in Section 13.

Our Koble Warranty is additional to your legal rights and does not replace or restrict them.

KOBLE SUPPORT

Need some help? Koble support is available through a range of channels.

Our UK-based team can be contacted by telephone Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

You can email us at any time and we aim to respond within one working day.

Online chat support is available 24/7 for quick questions and may include automated assistance outside normal UK team working hours.

Sometimes you just want to speak to a real person.

Our UK team is here to help before, during and after your purchase.

2. OUR DELIVERY AREA

We currently deliver to eligible addresses within mainland Great Britain.

Our standard delivery area does not currently include:

  • Northern Ireland;

  • Scottish Islands;

  • areas of the Scottish Highlands that are outside our courier network;

  • Isle of Man;

  • Isle of Wight;

  • Isles of Scilly;

  • Channel Islands; or

  • other offshore islands.

We do not normally deliver to freight-forwarding or shipping-agent addresses for onward transportation.

Availability will be confirmed by postcode and, where relevant, at checkout before you place your order.

Standard delivery within the Koble Delivery Area is free of charge.

3. PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, specifications, colours and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Images are intended to provide a fair representation of the product. Colours and finishes can appear slightly different depending on lighting, screen settings and natural variations in materials.

Dimensions may be subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances where appropriate.

Where a product includes natural materials, timber, fabric or upholstery, minor variations in grain, texture, shade or appearance may occur and are part of the characteristics of those materials.

Nothing in this section limits your rights where goods are materially different from their description, not of satisfactory quality or not fit for their intended purpose.

Customers are responsible for checking product dimensions and ensuring that products can be delivered into and accommodated within their intended space.

4. PRICES

All prices shown on kobledesigns.com are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.

The total amount payable will be clearly displayed before you place your order.

We will not add unavoidable mandatory charges after you have committed to the purchase.

Where a promotional price, sale price, voucher or discount applies, any specific promotional terms will be made clear at the relevant time.

Discount codes may not be valid on products that are already included in a sale, outlet promotion or other offer.

Only one promotion or discount may apply where this is made clear as part of the relevant promotion.

5. PLACING AN ORDER

When you submit an order through kobledesigns.com, you are offering to purchase the relevant products from us.

You will receive an order acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order.

Unless we tell you otherwise, a contract between you and Koble is formed when we accept your order and confirm that it is being processed for dispatch.

We reserve the right to decline an order before acceptance, for example where:

  • a product is unavailable;

  • payment cannot be authorised;

  • there is a material error in the product or pricing information;

  • your delivery address is outside our delivery area; or

  • we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

If payment has already been taken and we cannot accept your order, the amount paid will be refunded.

6. PAYMENT

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.

Where a third-party provider offers credit, instalment payments or Buy Now Pay Later facilities, those services are provided subject to the provider’s own eligibility criteria, regulatory information and terms.

Any legally required credit information or disclosures will be displayed alongside the relevant payment option.

Koble does not control a third-party lender’s decision to offer or refuse credit.

7. STOCK AND PRE-ORDERS

All products are subject to availability.

Where a product is shown as in stock, we will make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate stock information.

Where an item unexpectedly becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you and offer an appropriate option, which may include:

  • waiting for new stock;

  • choosing an alternative product; or

  • cancelling the affected item for a refund.

Products marked as pre-order or otherwise showing a future availability date are not covered by our standard 24-hour dispatch promise.

Any estimated availability or delivery date will be displayed on the product page or communicated to you.

If there is a significant delay to a pre-order, we will let you know and you will have the option to cancel if you do not wish to wait.

8. 24-HOUR DISPATCH

Where an eligible product is shown as in stock, our standard service is to dispatch it within 24 hours of order confirmation, including Saturdays and Sundays.

Products requiring a specialist delivery service, pre-order products, out-of-stock products or products displaying a different dispatch timeframe are excluded.

Orders may occasionally be delayed by circumstances such as payment or security checks, address problems, severe weather, carrier disruption or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a different dispatch timeframe applies, this will be shown on the relevant product page where reasonably possible.

24-hour dispatch refers to dispatch from our warehouse and not delivery to your address.

9. DELIVERY

The estimated delivery timeframe for each product will be displayed on the product page and/or communicated during the ordering process.

Different products within the same order may be dispatched separately or from different warehouse locations.

Unless another timeframe has been agreed with you, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law.

Delivery dates or time windows provided by Koble or our delivery partners are estimates unless expressly agreed as a guaranteed delivery date.

If delivery is significantly delayed, please contact us so that we can investigate.

Where a particular delivery date was agreed as essential, or where we fail to deliver within an additional reasonable period you have given us, you may have the right to cancel under consumer law.

10. DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS AND RISK

Risk in the goods normally remains with Koble until the goods come into your physical possession or the possession of a person you have identified to receive them.

If you specifically instruct a courier to leave goods with a named neighbour or in a particular safe place, delivery in accordance with those instructions may count as delivery to you.

If no such instruction has been authorised and the goods have not been properly delivered, please contact us.

11. YOUR LEGAL RIGHT TO CANCEL ONLINE ORDERS

For most products purchased online, consumers have a statutory right to change their mind and cancel their purchase.

You normally have 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive the goods to tell us that you wish to cancel.

Where an order contains multiple goods delivered on different days, the cancellation period may run from receipt of the last item where applicable under consumer law.

Once you have informed us that you are cancelling, you must return the goods within the applicable legal return period.

You do not need to provide a reason for exercising your statutory cancellation right.

Returning goods during the statutory cancellation period

You may inspect a product in the same way that you reasonably could in a shop.

We may make a lawful deduction from a refund where the value of the goods has been reduced because they have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Original packaging can help protect furniture in transit and we strongly encourage customers to retain it. However, your statutory right to cancel is not automatically lost simply because packaging has been opened or is no longer perfect.

Where the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning an item during the statutory cancellation period, this will be clearly communicated before purchase, including the applicable collection cost or a reasonable estimate where required for large items that cannot normally be returned by post.

We do not charge the £30 Koble administration/restocking charge for a return made under your statutory 14-day cancellation rights.

Refunds following statutory cancellation

Where you validly cancel, we will refund payments that we are legally required to refund.

This includes the cost of our standard outbound delivery service where a delivery charge has been paid, although we do not have to refund the additional cost of a premium delivery service selected by you over our standard service.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method originally used.

We may wait until we have received the goods back, or until you provide evidence that they have been returned, before issuing the refund where the law allows us to do so.

Refunds will be processed within the timescales required by consumer law.

Exceptions

Certain products may be excluded from statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights, for example products genuinely made to your specification or clearly personalised for you.

Where an exception applies, we will make this clear before you purchase.

12. KOBLE 60-DAY CHANGE OF MIND GUARANTEE

In addition to your statutory rights, Koble offers an extended change-of-mind period of up to 60 calendar days from delivery on eligible purchases.

For return requests made after the statutory cancellation period but within 60 days of delivery, the following conditions apply:

The product must be complete, in a resaleable condition and returned with its original packaging.

The product should not have been materially used, damaged, modified or altered.

We may ask for photographs before authorising a voluntary return so that we can confirm its condition and arrange an appropriate return service.

A £30 administration/restocking charge will be deducted from your refund for returns made under the additional Koble guarantee after the statutory 14-day cancellation period.

The cost and responsibility for returning the product after the statutory cancellation period sits with the customer.

You may arrange your own suitable tracked and insured return service or, where available, ask Koble to arrange collection. If Koble arranges collection, the collection cost will be confirmed before the collection is booked and may be deducted from your refund.

You remain responsible for the goods until they are safely received by us when using your own return carrier.

If the product is returned incomplete or damaged, or is not in a resaleable condition, we may refuse a return under this additional voluntary guarantee or make an appropriate deduction where permitted.

This additional 60-day guarantee relates to change-of-mind returns only.

Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are dealt with separately and your statutory rights are not subject to the £30 charge or the additional Koble change-of-mind conditions.

13. DAMAGED, FAULTY OR MISDESCRIBED GOODS

We want you to receive your Koble product in excellent condition.

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If you notice visible transit or packaging damage, we ask that you contact cs@kobledesigns.com promptly and, where possible, within 48 hours.

Providing photographs or video can help us resolve the issue more quickly.

The 48-hour reporting request does not remove or reduce your statutory rights if a fault or damage is discovered later.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

  • of satisfactory quality;

  • fit for their intended purpose; and

  • as described.

If goods do not meet these legal requirements, you may be entitled to remedies including a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction depending on the circumstances and when the problem becomes apparent.

In particular, consumers may have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within the first 30 days.

After this period, you may generally be entitled to require a repair or replacement before other remedies apply, subject to your legal rights and the circumstances.

These statutory rights exist separately from the Koble Warranty described below.

We may request photographs, videos, serial numbers, product labels or other reasonable information to help diagnose a fault.

Where necessary, we may arrange inspection by Koble, the manufacturer, a courier or an independent specialist.

We ask customers to retain packaging where reasonably possible, particularly during the early period after delivery, as this can make a return easier and safer.

However, failure to retain the original packaging does not remove your legal rights in relation to faulty goods.

Where a product page provides additional product-specific warranty information, that information should be read alongside these terms.

Components not expressly included within an additional Koble Warranty period remain protected by any statutory rights that apply.

What the Koble Warranty covers

The Koble Warranty covers manufacturing defects in the components listed above arising during normal domestic use.

Where we accept a warranty claim, we will determine an appropriate warranty remedy based on the nature of the problem.

This may include:

  • supplying a replacement component;

  • repairing the product; or

  • replacing the affected product.

If the original spare part or product is no longer manufactured or available, we will offer a product or component of a reasonably comparable type, specification and value.

Where no reasonable equivalent is available, we will work with you to agree an appropriate alternative remedy.

What the Koble Warranty does not cover

The additional Koble Warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • normal wear and tear;

  • accidental damage;

  • misuse or neglect;

  • excessive force or abnormal loading;

  • failure to follow assembly, operating or care instructions;

  • incorrect assembly;

  • unauthorised alterations or modifications;

  • damage caused by a third party;

  • damage caused specifically by dismantling, moving, transporting or reassembling the product;

  • exposure to inappropriate environmental conditions, liquids, excessive heat or moisture;

  • commercial, institutional or other non-domestic use; or

  • reasonable cosmetic deterioration arising through normal use.

Normal softening, settlement, compression or changes in the appearance of upholstery and foam arising through ordinary use are not manufacturing defects unless the change is excessive or results from a manufacturing fault.

Dismantling or moving a product does not automatically cancel the entire warranty. However, damage caused by dismantling, transportation, reassembly or modification is not covered.

Making a warranty claim

To make a warranty claim, contact cs@kobledesigns.com.

Please provide:

  • your order number or other reasonable proof of purchase;

  • details of the problem; and

  • photographs or video where reasonably requested.

We may need to inspect or test a product before confirming whether a fault is covered.

A replacement product or component supplied under this warranty does not restart the original warranty period. The remaining warranty continues from the original product’s delivery date.

Your statutory rights

The Koble Warranty gives you additional protection and does not affect your statutory rights.

You may have legal rights against Koble where goods are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described, regardless of whether a claim falls within this commercial warranty.

Expiry of the Koble Warranty does not by itself mean that all of your statutory consumer rights have expired.

15. ASSEMBLY, INSTALLATION AND PRODUCT CARE

Where a product requires self-assembly, instructions will be supplied with the product or made available electronically.

Products should be assembled and used in accordance with those instructions.

If you experience difficulty during assembly, please contact us rather than forcing a component into position, as this may cause damage.

Electrical and powered furniture should be operated in accordance with the supplied instructions and safety information.

Where a product has maximum loading, weight or operational limits, these must be followed.

16. OUTLET PRODUCTS

Outlet products may include returned, clearance, ex-display or repackaged stock.

Where an outlet product has a known material cosmetic defect, imperfection or other relevant condition, we will aim to identify this before purchase.

Packaging may have previously been opened, replaced or show cosmetic damage.

A reduced outlet price may reflect the item’s disclosed condition.

Your statutory consumer rights still apply to outlet products.

You cannot normally claim that an item is faulty because of a particular defect or characteristic that was specifically and clearly disclosed to you before purchase and formed part of the basis on which you bought the product.

Other faults remain subject to your normal legal rights.

Change-of-mind returns are subject to the applicable cancellation rights and Koble return conditions set out above.

17. DISCOUNT CODES AND PROMOTIONS

Promotional codes are subject to the conditions displayed when they are issued.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • promotional codes have no cash value;

  • they may have an expiry date;

  • they may be limited to specific products;

  • they may not apply to sale or outlet products; and

  • they may not be used with another promotion.

The price shown to you before you place your order will be the price applicable to your transaction.

18. KOBLE GIFT CARDS

Koble gift cards are available in the values displayed on kobledesigns.com.

Gift cards are issued by Justwise Group Limited trading as Koble Designs.

Where gift cards can be used

Koble gift cards can be redeemed only at www.kobledesigns.com.

They cannot be redeemed through another Koble retail partner, another retailer, third-party website or marketplace.

Gift cards are intended for customers purchasing products for delivery within the Koble Delivery Area described in these terms.

Digital and physical gift cards

Gift cards are supplied in digital format as standard.

The digital gift card will be sent electronically and will contain a unique redemption code representing the amount purchased.

A physical presentation card may be supplied only where this option is offered and the customer has paid any applicable physical-card or delivery charge agreed at the time of purchase.

Any charge for a physical presentation card is separate from the value loaded onto the gift card.

The same unique gift-card code, validity period and redemption conditions apply whether the card is provided digitally or in physical format.

Validity

Koble gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

The expiry date will be stated on or supplied with the gift card.

As a gesture of goodwill, Koble will honour an unused gift card for an additional 10 calendar days immediately following its stated expiry date.

After that grace period, the gift card will expire and any unused value will no longer be available, except where the law requires otherwise.

One-time use

Each Koble gift card code is valid for one transaction only.

The full gift-card value should therefore be used in a single order.

If the total order value is lower than the value of the gift card, any unused balance will be lost and will not be carried forward or exchanged for cash.

If the order value exceeds the gift-card value, the remaining balance can be paid using another payment method accepted at checkout.

Because of the one-time-use condition, customers should ensure that the value of their intended purchase is equal to or greater than the value of the gift card before redeeming it.

Cash and resale

Gift cards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash except where required by law.

Gift cards must not be commercially resold without Koble’s permission.

Refunds involving gift cards

If goods purchased using a Koble gift card are subsequently returned and a refund is legally or contractually due, any amount originally paid using the gift card will normally be refunded by issuing replacement Koble gift credit or a replacement code.

Any amount paid using another payment method will normally be refunded to that method.

Nothing in this section limits any refund or cancellation rights that you are legally entitled to.

Gift-card purchase cancellation

Gift cards are not normally refundable simply because the purchaser or recipient no longer wants the card, except where a statutory cancellation or refund right applies.

Nothing in these terms excludes any statutory rights applicable to the original purchase of the gift card.

Protecting your gift-card code

Please treat your gift-card code carefully.

A gift-card code should not be shared publicly or provided to an unknown third party.

If you believe a code has been lost, stolen or used without permission, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where a code remains unused and we can reasonably verify the original purchase, we will consider whether it can be cancelled and reissued.

20. COMPLAINTS

We want to resolve problems fairly and quickly.

Please contact:

Email: cs@kobledesigns.com
Telephone: 01799 513 466

Please provide your order number where possible and a clear description of the issue.

Where photographs, videos or other information would help us investigate a product complaint, we may reasonably request these.

If a consumer complaint cannot be resolved through our internal process, we will provide information about any Alternative Dispute Resolution provider that we are legally required or have agreed to use, where applicable.

Your right to bring a claim through the courts is not affected.

21. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breaching these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.

These consumer terms apply to purchases made mainly for private and domestic purposes. We are not responsible under these consumer terms for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, contracts or business opportunities arising from commercial use.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

22. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

Occasionally circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect our ability to dispatch or deliver an order.

Examples could include extreme weather, significant courier disruption, fire, flooding, industrial action, major infrastructure failure or other exceptional events.

We will make reasonable efforts to minimise the effect of such circumstances and keep affected customers informed.

We do not use this section to remove rights you may have under consumer law.

Where a delay becomes significant, you may have the right to end the contract and receive a refund for goods that have not been supplied.

23. PERSONAL INFORMATION

We process personal information in accordance with our separate Privacy Policy.

Our use of cookies, tracking technologies and similar technologies is explained separately within our Cookie Policy and cookie-management tools.

These policies should be read alongside these Terms & Conditions but do not reduce your rights under data-protection legislation.

24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our products, services, delivery arrangements or the law.

The terms that apply to your purchase will normally be those in force when you place your order.

We will not retrospectively change an existing contract in a way that unfairly reduces your rights.

25. IF PART OF THESE TERMS IS INVALID

If a court or other competent authority finds that any particular part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

26. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS

Unless the law provides otherwise, these terms create rights between you and Koble and are not intended to give contractual rights to other persons.

27. APPLICABLE LAW AND COURTS

These terms are governed by English law.

However, if you live elsewhere in Great Britain, you continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

You may bring legal proceedings in the courts applicable to the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
